Primary Material: Biothane
Our products are made with Biothane, a vegan, durable, and flexible material composed of PVC-coated nylon. Biothane is free from animal-derived components, making it an ethical choice for our community. It is also resistant to water, sweat, and wear, unlike leather alternatives, ensuring your gear lasts through all your lifelong adventures. Biothane is not known to contain common allergens like latex or leather, but please note that it is a synthetic material, and rare sensitivities to PVC or nylon may exist.
Standard Hardware: Stainless Steel
We use high-quality stainless steel for our standard hardware (e.g., buckles,
D-rings, and clips) due to its strength, corrosion resistance, and hypoallergenic properties. Stainless steel is nickel-free, making it a safe choice for those with nickel allergies. We’ve got your back—literally and figuratively.

Waterproof Properties
While stainless steel is highly water-resistant, it's not entirely waterproof. It can withstand splashes and brief submersion, but prolonged exposure to water, especially with harsh chemicals like chlorine, can cause it to corrode or lose its shine over time. Proper care, including regular cleaning and drying, is essential to maintain its appearance and prevent damage
Alternative Hardware Options
For those who like to mix it up, we offer additional hardware options, including brass and zinc alloy. These materials are durable and stylish but may contain trace amounts of nickel or other metals that could cause reactions in sensitive individuals.
